Updates

We have built the first and biggest Unit & the sanitary block with biodigester (second unit)! These units also have a big part of the finishing ready (windows, doors, floor screeding etc.)

We have built the third and last building! Foundation, walls and roofing are done! (August 2024)

Unit 3 has doors, windows, a ceiling. Unit 2 has toilets & shower heads (December 2024)

2025 has been a hard year for us. Our contractor experienced a great loss, and we wanted to honor him in his grief. This cost us several months, but we would make the same decision again. When the rains came, we noticed problems with the roofs, so we needed to repair them. Many more things happened, and if you are subscribed to our newsletter, you always get more details. We are not giving up and will continue the work!

In 2026, we are still repairing the remaining issues, and then we will focus again on the final finishes for the three units. If we have gathered enough funds, we hope to install solar energy. We are still being careful about when we will open, but we can’t wait! We just posted a new video (end of May 2026).

The next donations will go toward: electricity, a polytank, general finishing, fencing, furniture, landscaping and more.
