Safety
We aim to create a welcoming, home-like environment, where everyone feels safe.

Sungyata

  • is a neutral space (no religious or political activities)

  • has a decolonizing environment with no discrimination (regardless of your ethnicity, religion, belief, gender etc.)

  • is a non-abusive space. Basically, we strive to create an environment that is the opposite of trauma, but feels loving, soft, warm, and homely.

Unity in Diversity
We encourage and cherish the differences in everyone, even if that means not fitting in the box. We stand for ubuntu and tap into the power of community to bring talents together and to create a support system. As a community, we respect and n
ourish one another. We look at community in a holistic way. This means it includes not only human beings but all living beings, like plants, animals and different spirit beings.

Growth
We support the growth of Sungyata and everyone involved in the project, both the people who come there and the people who work there. Lifelong learning, developing our talents, learning new things, learning from each other
, and uncovering different skills.

Nature
We encourage a habit of caring for nature, and understanding the importance of it. We highlight our connection to it — that we are nature. Furthermore, we highlight the importance of reciprocity, the elements, ritual, respecting the Earth and the spirits of nature, as well as learning about nature, plants, herbs,
farming, working with durable, ecological materials and local products as much as possible.

Health & Healing
We focus on promoting healing on an individual basis and for the community — mind, body, soul, and spirit. Healthy food and drinks, sharing circles, healing opportunities, connecting with nature, movement, and more.
